The whole district of the Hegefischereigenossenschaft Fränkische Saale - ten numbered stretches from Weickersgrüben down to Gemünden, and the people in the villages who hand out the day tickets.

Orientation

One river, ten stretches

Each stretch is tended by the cooperative and let out as a guest permit through local issuing points - usually a family home in the village. Buy your day ticket there, then fish that stretch from both banks; the boundaries are marked on the ground by white signs.

Stretches 5, 6 and 7 lie next to one another below Gräfendorf. For a small surcharge the Three-Section card joins them into one long beat. We ourselves issue the permits for Section 7 and the Three-Section card - just get in touch. See them all drawn on the interactive map.

The big beat

The Three-Section card

Stretches 5, 6 and 7 in one - around 4.2 km of varied Saale below Gräfendorf, from the weir past Schonderfeld down towards Wolfsmünster. For a small surcharge on the single-stretch price, it is the most water you can fish here on one ticket.
