Nearly everything you see here is free to reuse. This page is the open register: who holds the rights to each photo, graphic and dataset, and exactly how you may use it.

Two open licences are in play: CC BY-SA asks for attribution and share-alike, CC BY only for attribution. A few older works are in the public domain.

How to reuse this
Under CC BY-SA (or CC BY for the gauge data) you can reuse the content straight away, as long as you keep the credit, link to the licence and, for BY-SA, pass adaptations on under the same licence. For any other use, or if you are unsure, just get in touch.
Attribution in short: name the creator, add the licence (e.g. „CC BY-SA 4.0“) and link to it. Third-party and public-domain works are marked as such above.
